Internet Marketing can be a very taxing experience! The best thing about it is that there is always something else that you can do to further the growth of your business. The worst thing about it is that it seems like there are too many things to do and it's easy to get OVERLOADED! I'm the kind of person who tends to take on too many projects at once, but I'm also the type who is driven to succeed. Anyway, I've been so busy this week on some new things that I've fallen behind on everything. I feel like the poor animal in the photo to the left! Congratulations to both of them! The Team Ads continue to work well and James Blackburn has started receiving his referrals. After James, it will be Russell's turn, and then Penny. I love this Team Ad - Team Rotator idea so much because it's really helping a lot of people get a solid start in what can be an extremely frustrating industry. It frustrated ME for a long time. But I found that refusing to quit and a commitment to learning work wonders over the long term. Now, I'm learning all about something called 'time management' (LOL).
In this update, though, there is one thing that I need to mention. And that is what I have invested both time and money in as experiments for increasing the speed of these Team Rotators. I promote the Team Ads in the TE's and Safelists just like everybody else does. But I'm always looking for new ideas. That's what everybody wants, right? New ideas. Well, I can tell you that there really aren't that many out there, as the fundamental principles of Internet Marketing are already well established. For example, this blog brings me web traffic and my mailing list allows me to share it with my subscribers. Those are two HUGE concepts right there! There isn't one 'key' to online success. It's more like a set of keys. But one of them is the ability to communicate with large numbers of people all at once and continually. That is why the TrafficWave product is such a vital component of any online business-building strategy.
That said, here are two products I've bought and tested that I actually don't recommend:
Lead Scraper Pro and Magic Traffic Bot. I'm both a user and an affiliate in both of these programs, but I'm not even going to bother putting my links here. In both cases, they are very well thought-out and highly creative pieces of software. They help me in some ways, that's true. They just aren't going to help promote Team OceanSwell the way that I expected them to. But I spent the money and tried them out. That's something I'm going to keep doing! But I am telling you this so that you know what I'm up to. I've also joined a new Team promotion for another product that uses Yahoo ads as their sole method of promotion. I think this is going to be HUGE, but that's just my opinion. However, if it works well, then we might be able to borrow the idea a little bit to move our Rotators even faster. I'm working on it but, like everything else, it takes time to test.
I know that a third of the country is suffering from floods and tornadoes tonight and the southern coast is about to be one giant eco-disaster. What's more, too many people are out of work and our money doesn't buy what it used to. It's an incredibly stressful time in America this weekend. So that's why my message this week is not to get overwhelmed by everything and don't try to do too much. Just stay with the plan, give it the time you can and always have a student's mindset. Never stop learning and never stop growing. Try to do just one thing a day (or even a week) that helps build your list, such as a TrafficWave-exclusive Twitter account set to automation through SocialOomph. You want to automate as much as possible. Afterall, that's what an autoresponder is for. But if you can automate traffic to your lead-capture page, so much the better!
