Will You Use The Revamped Yahoo Search Engine?

Yahoo just launched their new search approach in an attempt to make search results easier to navigate when searching for music, movies, or news. This vertical tab navigation allows you to select from a variety of options such as overview, events, videos, Twitter etc. There is also real estate available on these tabs for search advertisers to purchase sponsorship space. And from a mobile perspective, Yahoo improved upon their web search by using HTML5 which allows for better visuals.

So, what do you think about this new search layout? Does it entice you to ditch Google for a while to try out the new and improved Yahoo? Unfortunately, I believe it may be too late for Yahoo to try and rejuvenate itself, but it is an interesting attempt to try and break the typical “list of search results” format.

Cheapest Gas Prices

If you’re looking for cheap gas, as I’m sure most of us are, you need to check out at Yahoo!’s new tool. When you type in “gas prices” and your zip code you’ll be shown a map with prices in the area. I’ve used this now several times and the prices have been exactly what’s been posted. The other search engines only list local gas stations without showing you prices.
