Are You Using Google’s Search Tool Belt?

Do you ever perform a Google search and wish you could drill down further into the results?

Although this isn’t a new feature, the Google Search Tool Belt on the left-hand navigation bar is designed for that specific purpose, yet it is often ignored. This search utility belt allows you to slice and dice your search results in many ways. From images, maps, videos, and more, these search options tend to often be overlooked by searchers (myself included).

You probably notice that, unless you are a power user, you tend to perform a search and look for the fastest most relevant-appearing result that you can find. But, next time you perform a search, give the tool belt a try. See what kind of search experience you have when you use these tools.
